Campaign for The Gulch

How We’re Doing

Each year Cottonwood Gulch is hosting more Trekkers than ever before. That’s great news! And we have big plans to meet the ever-growing demand by enriching our programs, scholarships, and infrastructure. Here’s  how we’re doing, and how you can help us reach our goals.
  • We had a terrific 2017 summer full of excellent staff, inspired trekkers and epic explorations.
  • Welcomed 142 summer trekkers, and 1,315 school group students.
  • Logged 6,392 days in the wild places of NM, CO, AZ, and UT.
  • Gave nearly $90,000 in scholarships to welcome 44 summer trekkers,
  • Awarded $49,000 in grant-based scholarships to reach 1,315 students from Title 1 schools in our Classrooms GO program.
  • Increased diversity and availability of treks to continue to bridge the “Access Gap”.
  • Made it possible for a wide range of youth to get outdoors, unplug and connect with nature and each other!
