Tallie Segel, Assistant Director

Our Assistant Director is Tallie Segel. Tallie’s experience in environmental and experiential education is diverse. She has worked among caves and along coastlines, with kids and adults. Tallie has led instruction on a wide variety of ecosystems and landscapes, performed interpretive dances of geologic processes, and sung songs with intrepid young backpackers throughout the Southwest. Tallie came to Cottonwood Gulch in 2006 and has worked as a naturalist and group leader both on the road and at Base Camp. A native New Mexican, Tallie returns to Albuquerque and the Gulch from Orcas Island in Washington State, where she was an environmental and outdoor educator. Tallie holds a BA in Ecology and French from the University of Denver.
