Tuition
As an educational non-profit, we are able to keep costs down and still offer the highest quality wilderness experience in the Southwest. Tuition fees for the expeditions cover all expenses from arrival in Albuquerque to departure. This includes meals, laundry, group camping equipment, transportation, admission fees, staff salaries, and sickness and accident reimbursement insurance for each Trekker. At less than $700 per week, our tuition is considerably less than any of the other traveling, outdoor educational programs in the West, which average $950 per week. The tuition does not cover personal spending money or personal equipment necessary for the expedition, although some Cottonwood Gulch gear, such as backpacks and sleeping bags, is available for loan.
